Member, Durban High School Old Boy's Club, Pietermaritzburg College Old Boys' Club, Durban Jewish Club. Served with South African Forces in World War II, 1st S. A. Div. Headquarters, became Staff Officer (Legal), Natal Command, with rank of Lieutenant. Married Rosslyn Winterburn, 4th April, 1962; one daughter. Recreations: Numismatics, swimming, fishing.
