Educated at Wynberg Boys' High School and University of Cape Town. General Manager of Garden Cities (Housing Utility Corporation). Previously was Assistant Engineer 1945-47, Chief Engineer 1948-1963. Part-time Lecturer at Cape Town University; Regional Advisory Council member of National Building Research Institute. Member of the Public Relations Committee of the S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies and various ad hoc committees of the Board, Vice-Chairman, Scopus Club during 1950. Chairman, Cape Town Branch, S.A. Nursery School Association; Chairman, Wynberg Old Boys' Union; Committee member, Wynberg Boys' High School; Chairman, Pinelands Cricket Club; Executive Committee member, Western Province Cricket Union.
