Educated at Jewish Government School and Jeppe High School, Johannesburg. Chairman, Daihatsu (SA) (Pty.) Ltd. and Director of National Lingerie (Pty.) Ltd. Principal of the Senate of the Hebrew Order of David, 1964-1966; President, Cyrildene H.O.D. Lodge, 1957- 58 and 1961-62. Founder and Committee member of the Cyrildene-Observatory Hebrew Congregation for 25 years. Married Marie Benson, 4th February, 1934; one son, two daughters.
