During World War II served for three years in Auxiliary Nursing Services in Southern Rhodesian Hospitals. Chairman, Hebrew Nursery School, Sea Point, 1954- 56; executive member, Hebrew Nursery School Association, 1954-1956. Member of Lions' International. Married Alexander Neumann, 1946; one son, one daughter. Recreations: Gardening, travel, literature, social welfare, international correspondence. Add.: Alwin, Ingleside Road, Camps Bay, Cape Town.
