NURICK, Ivan Jones. M.B., Ch.B. Medical Practitioner. Born Queenstown, 25th August, 1934, son of Philip Leopold and Raina Nurick. Educated at Ishowe High School, Ishowe; Queen's College, Queenstown; and University of Cape Town. Honorary Anaesthetist, Victoria Hospital, Wynberg and Conronse Hospital, Pinelands. Hon. Medical Practitioner, Jewish Association, University of Cape Town, 1955; Cape Jewish Orphanage. Vice-chairman, Students' Jewish Association, University of Cape Town, 1955; representative of the Association on S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies (Council of Western Province Committee) 1953-54; secretary-treasurer, Cape Town branch of Queen's College Old Boys' Association; Vice-Chairman, Gardens Executive and Organisation Committee, Progressive Party.
