OPPENHEIMER, Alfred. Importer of Textiles. Born Rohrbach, Germany 23rd December, 1907, son of Samuel and Jeanette Oppenheimer. Matriculated in Germany. Came to South Africa 1934. Committee member, Cape Jewish Aged Home. During World War II served with the Union Defence Force 1940-45, was on active service in the Middle East for 3 years.
