11th June, 1911, son of Jacob and Rachel Osher. Educated at Kelme Hebrew
School. Came to South Africa 1930. Director, Dupa Clothing Industries (Pty.)
Ltd. Active in Jewish War Appeal and Israel United Appeal 1945-48 and 1950-62.
During World War II served with the Voluntary Civilian Protective Services.
Member, Reading Country Club and Allenby Country Club. Recreations: bowls,
golf. Married Lilian Helen Chatzkel 1938; two sons, one daughter. Add.: 12,
Sixth Avenue, Highlands North, P.O. Box 339, Johannesburg.
