PECK Aaron (Archie). Director of Companies. Born Poland 25th November, 1915, son of Isaac Mayer and Pearl Peck. Educated at Mirer Yeshivah; hold Smichas Rabbones from Rabbi Yehuda Finkel, Dean of Mirer Yeshiva, the late Rabbi Kamai of Mir, and Rabbis of Bialystock and Novhadock. Came to South Africa 1934. Joint Managing Director of Pecks Holdings (Pty) Ltd. which is the holding company for a large number of companies in various spheres of business activities. Former President, Sydenham-Highlands North Hebrew Congregation; Executive member, S.A. Board of Jewish Education; Executive member, Federation of Synagogues. Member, Linksfield Ridge Bowling Club.
