Pencharz, Rachel

PENCHARZ, Rachel. Born Warsaw, Poland, 1892; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Finkelstein. Emigrated to London and educated at Board School there; came to South Africa 1904; continued education at schools in the Transvaal. Director of S. Pencharz, Son, Mtunzini, Zululand. Member, Temple David Reform Congregation, Durban. Served on the Committee of the Johannesburg Jewish Guild, 1917-1918. Married the late Samuel Pencharz, 1919; one son, one daughter.
