Director of several property-holding companies. Previously was Manager of Van
Ryn Sand Co. (Pty) Ltd., Benoni, and Managing Director of Bon Accord Quarries
(Pty.) Ltd., Pretoria. Member of Pretoria United Hebrew Congregation. Key man
during World War II in Reserve of Officers (Engineers). Member, Wingate Park
Country Club. Married Phyllis Sonnenberg, 31st August, 1941; one daughter.
