Educated at Jeppe High School, Johannesburg, St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London, and University of London. Physician, Johannesburg Hospital. Lecturer in Clinical Medicine, University of Witwatersrand. Previously held various post-graduate appointments in London hospitals. Member, Wolmarans Street, Synagogue. During World War II served as Medical Specialist in the South African Medical Corps, with the rank of Major. Member, Houghton Bowling Club, Recreation: bowls.
