Member of Cape Committee, S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies, and Western Province Zionist Council. Chairman, Cape Town Zionist Luncheon Club. Studied and worked in Palestine for 12 months in 1946/47 as member of first Zionist Federation and Jewish Agency-sponsored "Post-Matriculation Course". Member, King David Country Club.
