KIBUR, Maurice. Commercial Representative. Born Lithuania 1st January, 1900, son of Shapse and Sonia Kibur. Came to South Africa 1910. Educated Grey College, Bloemfontein. Founded Young Israel Society in Bloemfontein in 1916. Foundation member and past President, Bloemfontein Lodge of the Hebrew Order of David. Founded Bloemfontein Jewish Progressive Congregation in 1958, and its Hon, Life President. Hon. Secretary, Orangia Bowling Club for five years. During World War II served with 5th M.T., honorably discharged due to bad ankle. Married Rose Bertha Weiner 1927, one son. Add.: 23, Brebner Road, P.O. Box 555, Bloemfontein.
