LE ROITH, Harold Hirsch. B.Arch., M.I.A., A.R.I.B.A. Born Grahamstown 24th March, 1905, son of Samuel and Rachael Le Roith. Educated at Rhodes University and University of the Witwatersrand. Director of several companies. President, United Progressive Jewish Congregation of Johannesburg, 1958-61; Hon. Architect and Executive Member of the Congregation. His architectural work has been noted in various books and magazines in South Africa and overseas. Served in the Civil Guard and Police Reserve during World War II.
