Born Jerusalem 12th May, 1930, son of Tuvia and Chana Levin, Educated at Hebrew University and Mizrachi Teachers' Training College, Jerusalem, and University of South Africa. Came to South Africa 1957. Headmaster, Theodore Herzl Primary and High Schools, Port Elizabeth. Previously Headmaster of the Jewish School, Constantine, Algeria with 700 pupils. Chairman, Histadrut Ivrit, Port Elizabeth since 1958. Chairman Cultural Committee of E.P. Zionist Council since 1966. During Israel's War of Liberation served in the defence of Jerusalem 1947-48.
