Director of Mercury Furnishers, Previously Director of J. Hirshovitz & Co., Pretoria. Committee member, Zionist Council for Natal, Maccabi Association, ex- chairman, Bkoach of Pretoria Habonim before World War II. Friends of Habonim and Durban Zionist Association; committee member, I.U.A.; member, Durban United Hebrew Congregation, Durban Jewish Club, Circle Bowling Club. Served with South African Forces in World War II, 1939-42, Staff Sergeant, S.A. Medical Corps. Married Razelle Tollman, 15th August, 1939; one son, two daughters.
