Was secretary of Etz Chaim Hebrew Congregation, Johannesburg, for eight years, and an active member of the B'nai B'rith Lodge Sisterhood; represented B'nai B'rith Women's Chapter on the South African Jewish Board of Deputies. United Nations Convener of the Business and Professional Women's Club. Married the late Dr. Adolf Hohenstein, 1925: he was Polizei-President in Kassel, 1925- 33.
