HYMAN, Abraham. B.A., LI.B. Attorney. Born Johannesburg 7th July, 1913, son of Solomon and Ida Hyman. Educated at Athlone High School and University of the Witwatersrand. Director of various private companies. Executive member, S.A. Zionist Federation, 1956-61; vice-president, S.A. Maccabi Council since 1962; Vice-Chairman of Maccabi Council, 1950-62; past vice-chairman, Balfour Park (also foundation member). During Second World War served in the S.A. Artillery with rank of lieutenant. Married Joan Sair Emanuel, 1946; two sons, one daughter. Add.: 49, First Avenue, Lower Houghton.
