Educated at Kroonstad High School, Rhodes and Witwatersrand Universities. Physician to Discoverer's Memorial Hospital, Florida. Awarded Medical Graduate Association Prize, University of the Witwatersrand, 1948, and Nuffield Fellowship, 1951. Member of the Glendower Golf Club.
