Previously Minister, Garnethill Synagogue, Glasgow; Bradford Reform Congregation; Jamaica Congregation, British West Indies; General Secretary, Council of Manchester and Salford Jews, 1943-1957; Headmaster, Queens Park Hebrew School, Glasgow, 1921-23; President, Glasgow University Jewish Society, 1917-19. Arrived in South Africa 1957. Married Rose Bernstein, 12th September, 1944.
