Educated at South African College School, University of Cape Town, and Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Surgeon, Paarl Hospital. Member of Paarl Hebrew Congregation. Member, Paarl Golf Club. During World War II served with South African Forces in North Africa, Italy and Palestine, 1940-1945. Married Freida Meyer, 27th January, 1947; one son, three daughters. Recreation: Golf.
