KAHN, Ellison. B.Com., LL.B. (Rand), LL.M. (Natal). Barrister-at -Law of the Middle Temple (London). Advocate of the Supreme Court of South Africa. Born Durban 24th January, 1921, son of Bernard and Ellen Ruby (nee Mendelssohn) Kahn. Educated at King Edward VII School, Johannesburg, and University of the Witwatersrand. Professor of Law at the University of the Witwatersrand since 1954; previously Senior Lecturer in Law (1948-1953). Executive member, South African P.E.N. Centre; Co-author, "South Africa: The Development of its Laws and Constitution"; Joint Editor, "South African Law Journal"; Assistant Editor, "Annual Survey of South African Law." Married Adele Emma Sonnenberg, July, 1945; two sons. two daughters. Recreation: Tennis. Add.: 49, Burn Street, Waverley, Johannesburg.
