Educated at Cape Town High School and University of Cape Town. Chairman, Cape Mizrachi Organisation. Committee member, Cape Jewish Orphanage and Claremont Synagogue; member of General Purposes Committee of Western Province Zionist Council. Married Sonia Katz, 1952; two sons.
