KAUFMAN, Fritz Henry. Fashion dealer. Born Berlin, 16th June, 1907, son of Josef and Elfrieda Kaufman. Educated at Schiller Real Gymnasium, Berlin. Came to South Africa, 1935, with diploma as a Master Butcher, and managed a butchery before going into fashion trade. Owner of Dresswell, Cape Town. During World War II, served in South Africa and Egypt with S.A. Forces. Member of the Vredehoek Sports Club. Recreations: bowling, swimming. Married Ursula Suzann K.
