Member, Western Province Zionist Council (Israeli Affairs Committee). Hon. Assistant Treasurer, Cape Jewish Orphanage. Chairman, Yeshivoh Tachkmony, Cape Town; Chairman, New Hebrew Congregation Talmudical Society. Past Chairman, Bowls Section, Vredehoek Sports Club; member Vredehoek Sports Club and Keurboom Sports Club. Married Anne Lipschitz, 1945; three sons. Recreation: Bowls.
