Educated at Krugersdorp High School and University of the Witwatersrand, Member Krugersdorp United Hebrew Institutions, H.O.D. Lodge, Krugersdorp Golf Club, Kadimah Club, Served in the South African Air Force during World War II, 1941-45. Married Ettie Reichman, 14th January, 1951; three sons, one daughter.
