GREENBERG, Isidore. Retired. Born Birmingham, England, 23rd May, 1887, son of Isaac and Rachel Leah Greenberg. Came to South Africa 1889. Previously with the Keystone Trading Co. (mining materials). President of the Rand Pioneers Inc. Past President of the S.A. Union for Progressive Judaism; Past President, United Progressive Jewish Congregation of Johannesburg; Vice-President, World Union for Progressive Judaism. Member of the Wanderers Club, Oldroyd Bowling Club and the Rand Pioneers. Married 1937, wife's name May Rochelle; three daughters by previous marriage. Recreation: Bowls.
