Educated at Hebrew High School, Johannesburg, Jeppe High School and University of the Witwatersrand. Member, Beth Hamidrash Hagodel; member of Houghton and Glendower Sports Clubs. Served with South African Forces in World War II, 1940-45, with S.A.M.C. Author of numerous medical publications. Married Rhona Berman, 30th June, 1956. Recreation: Golf.
