Educated at Normal College, S.A.C.S. and Cape Town and Liverpool Universities. Past Vice-President New Hebrew Congregation. Member, Glen Country Club, Maccabi Association. Served in R.A.M.C., 1939- 45; promoted to rank of Major. Served in Great Britain, Middle East and Central Mediterranean Forces, World War II.
