HARRIS, Solomon Nathan. M.A., LI.B. Director of Companies. Born Lithuania 18th January, 1924, son of Bernhard and Malke Gita Harris. Came to South Africa 1930. Educated at Grey College School, Bloemfontein, and University of O.F.S. Joint Managing Director of Free State Fabric (Pty.) Ltd. and Marlaine Fashions (Pty.) Ltd. Previously practised as advocate at Bloemfontein Bar (1950-53). Member of the O.F.S. Committee of the S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies, 1961-64; President of H.O.D. Lodge Israel, 1964-65; member of the Ramblers Club and Maccabi Association. Married Anita Zawels, 1957; one son, two daughters. Recreations: Tennis, reading. Add.: 16, Ladysmith Street, P.O.
