Minister of the Hebrew Congregation Etz Chayim, Johannesburg. Previously Minister at Tel Hashomer Synagogue, Israel (1948- 56), and Carletonville Hebrew Congregation, Transvaal (1956-1960). Chairman of the S.A. Rabbinical Association. Served with the Haganah during the Israel War of Independence. Married Judith Zelmanovitz, 1946; two sons, one daughter.
