Educated at Sea Point Boys' High School and Grey College, Bloemfontein. Managing Director of C. D. Fox (Pty.) Ltd. and General Twine Distributors (Pty) Ltd. Chairman, Weizmann Primary School, P.T.Α., 1958-62; Hon. Treasurer, Weizmann School and Talmud Torah. Served as Sergeant in the Union Defence Forces during World War II, saw action in the Middle East, 1940-1943. Member of the Glen Country Club.
