Joint Treasurer, Durban United Hebrew Congregation; past President, Council of Natal Jewry; past President, Durban Zionist Society. Was Chairman of Keren Hayesod campaign in Durban during Dr. Chaim Weizmann's visit to South Africa; and Chairman of Jewish National Fund during Dr. Mosinsohn's visit; also Chairman of the campaign during Lord Marley's visit.
