Previously was a silk screen and display artist. Member of Maccabi, Jewish Ex-Service League, Selwyn Segal Hostel. Served with the S.A.A.F. during World War II (five and a half years). Awarded the British Empire Medal in 1943 for gallant action at Antelat, Libya. Member of the Sandringham Bowling Club. Married Rose Gordon 1st January, 1946; two sons, one daughter.
