CHARLAFF, Ephraim. (Died 1967). Born Poland 25th October, 1907, son of David and Jane Charlaff. Came to South Africa 1921. Educated in Poland and South Africa. Was Director of a printing and packaging company. Chairman and founder, Commerce and Industry Division, C.P. Road Safety Organisation. Member of Western Province Zionist Council, Magen David Adom, Israel Maritime League. Member of Glen Country Club. Married 1930; one son, one daughter.
