CHORITZ, Sophia Violet Althea. Business Representative. Born Cape Town 7th September, 1909, daughter of Solomon Joseph and Chiasa Mere. Educated at Cape Town Central and Cape Town High School and Normal College. Previously managed Cape Town Trading Co., Tulbagh, together with husband. Committee member, Bnoth Zion (Secretary 1956-59); Member, Oranjezicht Civic Association. During World War II served in S.A.W.A.S. in Tulbagh. Married Israel Choritz 11th April, 1937; two sons, one daughter. Recreations: Swimming, walking, study, bowling. Add.: "Paw Paw," Grosvenor Avenue, Oranjezicht, Cape Town.
