Educated at Hebrew Gymnasium, Marianpole, Lithuania, and at pedagogical institutions in South Africa. Came to South Africa October. 1925. Was first secretary of the first Chug Ivri in Johannesburg, 1926-1927. Former Choir member, Yeoville Synagogue and A. Z. Idelsohn Choral Society. Vice-Chairman and Cultural Convener. Ladies' Guild, Yeoville Synagogue; Vice-Chairman, Study Circle of Women's Zionist League. Committee member, Zionist Socialist Party. Executive member, Histadrut Ivrith; Vice-Chairman, Chug Nashim of Histadrut Ivrith; Executive member, Yiddish Cultural Federation; Vice-Chairman, Women's Section of Yiddish Cultural Federation; member of Education Committee, S.A. Zionist Federation and J.N.F. Education Committee. Married Rev. A. K. Coblentz 5th May, 1931; one son, two daughters, Recreations: Singing, play reading.
