COHEN, Beryl Rebecca. Housewife. Born Witbank, 21st April, 1918, daughter of Solomon and Miriam Ruthenberg. Educated at Parktown Convent and Rand Business College, Johannesburg. Vice-Chairman of the Parkview/Parkwood Branch of the Johannesburg Women's Zionist League and was an Executive Member of the League in 1959. Member, Johannesburg Women's Benevolent Society, Magen David Adom; Transvaal Automobile Club. During World War II served on the staff of the Technical Director of War Supplies as secretary to the Manager of the Machine Tool Section and the Machine Tool Controller 1941-1944.
