College High School, University of Cape Town, and University of Liverpool. Awarded Queen Victoria Scholarship at SACS. Ex-Major, S.A.M.C. Previously Medical Officer, Workmen's Compensation; Senior Medical Officer Pensions Dept. Member, Cape Town Jewish Reform Congregation; Brotherhood of the Reform Congregation; served on Congregation Council and was former convenor of Social Welfare Committee; still a member of Social Welfare Committee. Member of the Art Society. Served during World War II as Senior Medical Officer, Defence Headquarters, Pretoria (1940-45). Awarded Queen's Coronation Medal and Goold Adams Medal. Married Gwendoline Weedon, 7th November, 1942; has a son and a daughter by a previous marriage, and a son by present marriage. Recreation: Art.
