Former Clinical Assistant to the late Dr. Geo. Lindsay Johnson, Ophthalmic Surgeon, Durban. Served as Optician in Imperial and Union Forces during First World War (1918). Member of Johannesburg Turf Club, Transvaal Racing Club, Owners and Trainers Association. Recreations: Riding, horse-racing. Married Constance Adela Smith, 1921; one son, one daughter.
