COLMAN, The Hon. George. B.Com., LI.B., Q.C. Judge of the Supreme Court of South Africa. Born Johannesburg 28th February, 1908, son of Samuel Jacob and Rose Colman. Educated at Jeppe High School, University of the Witwatersrand and University of South Africa. Chairman of the Johannesburg Bar Council 1961-62; Vice-Chairman of the General Council of the Bar of South Africa 1961-62; Acting Chairman 1962-63. Sometime lecturer at the Witwatersrand Technical College. Author of "Principles and Practice of Commerce in South Africa. Married Gladys Cooper, 1938; one son, one daughter.
