(Pty) Ltd., Interlaken (Pty) Ltd., and Companhia Industrial Nos Voltaremos, Lda. Was responsible for the erection of Hotel Continental, Continental Buildings and other central city buildings in Windhoek, S.W.A. Member of City Council since 1956. Deputy Mayor of Windhoek 1964-65, Mayor of Windhoek 1965-66, Chairman, Windhoek City Council, Chairman Windhoek Public Library since 1961, Chairman, S.W.A. Publicity and Tourist Association 1958. President, Windhoek Hebrew Congregation 1953-55, Committee Member 1931-1955. Served with the South African Forces in World War II, 1939-43, in S.W.A., South Africa and Egypt. Editor, S.W.A. Publications (Pty) Ltd., since its inception in 1946. Has compiled annuals, books, productions and articles on South-West Africa. Member, Lions International, Committee Member, Wanderers and Sport Klub Windhoek. Married Sera Levin, 16th July, 1929; two sons. Recreations: Swimming, gardening, travel.
