Member of Rand Club, Johannesburg Country Club, Inanda Club and Wanderers Club. Married Barbara Leon 18th June, 1937. Breeder of pedigree Frieslands at Lidgetton, Natal. Author of "The Tide Turned at Alamein" and "Tomorrow is Another Day." During World War II served with S.A. Infantry Division, with rank of Captain, in North African Campaign, 1940-1943.
