Held appointment as Hon, Superintendent, Charles Johnson Hospital, Zululand; District Surgeon, Nqutu, Zululand (1928-40); Honorary Medical Officer, Pioneer Home, Johannesburg, 1946-61; Honorary Medical Officer, St. Thomas School (1946-61). Between the years 1946-61 was Honorary Medical Officer to the Johannesburg Chevra Kadisha, the Witwatersrand Jewish Aged Home, the Jewish Women's Benevolent Society, the S.A. Jewish Orphanage (1955-61); and the Jewish Deaf Hostel. Served with the S.A. Medical Corps during World War II in South Africa and Egypt. Married Dr. Rachel Getz, 1943.
