Secretary, Witwatersrand Jewish Aged Home; took active part in Habonim, Zionist
Youth. In World War II served as Lieutenant, S.A.A.F.; with R.A.F., 1940-42;
Pilot, 21 Squadron, S.A.A.F., 1942-43: Training Command, 1943-45; service in
North Africa, Malta, Sicily, Italy. Founder member of Governing Body and past
Vice-President of Allenby Country Club. Foundation member of Balfour Park.
Member of Lions' International; S.A. Air Force Association; M.O.T.H.S. Married
Dora Shapiro, 19th December, 1946; one daughter. Recreations: Bowls, soccer.
