BRASCH, Victor Herbert. Director of Companies. Born Johannesburg, 16th June, 1910, son of Emanuel and Dorothy Brasch. Educated at St. John's College, Johannesburg, and Witwatersrand University. Has played a leading part in the United Progressive Jewish Congregation of Johannesburg since 1936, from which time he has been a member of the Congregation's Council; has held various honorary offices on the Council, including that of President. One of the founders and past President of the S.A. Union for Progressive Judaism; has held every honorary office on the Executive of the Union and is Hon Life Vice-President.
