Educated at La Rochelle, Paarl, and College of Music, Cape Town. Was formerly on the staff of the S.W.A. Administration. Member of Sea Point Hebrew Congregation since 1962, Sea Point Synagogue Ladies' Guild since 1965. Acting President, Sea Point Synagogue Ladies' Guild. President, National Council of Women in S.W.A. 1943-47, 1960-62; former President. Santa in S.W.A., Union of Jewish Women in S.W.A. and Windhoek Ladies' Zionist League; former Vice-President, L.B.S., Windhoek. Was Secretary of Gifts and Comforts, S.W.A., during World War II, Secretary of Governor-General's Fund, S.W.A., for two years. Was President, Windhoek Rotary Anns Club; 1958 Member, Sea Point Rotary Anns Club. Received Commendation from King George VI for war services.
