ABRAMOWITZ, Samuel. Retired. Born Rakisok, Russia, 27th July, 1893, son of Abram Zwi and Chae Hinda Abramovitz. Came to South Africa 1902. Educated in Cape Town and Robertson, Cape. Was Director of Bon Marche Stores (Pty) Ltd., before retirement. Was Secretary and Treasurer for 39 years of the Robertson Hebrew Congregation, and is now its President. Member of the Green and Sea Point Hebrew Congregation, Cape Town. Married in 1923 one son, two daughters. Add.: 602 Eden Roc, Oliver Road, Sea Point Cape Town.
