Educated at Queens College, Queenstown, East London City Councillor since 1950; Deputy Mayor, 1955-56; Mayor, 1957-59. President, East London Zionist Society, 1932-58; Foundation President for seven years, now a Trustee, Alexander Country Club. Member of local School Board for 25 years. Author of "Epic of a People."
