AGRANAT, Abraham. M.D. (Dublin), F.R.C.P. (Ed.), D.T.M. & H. Physician Specialist. Born Libau 26th March, 1898, son of Philip and Johanna Rose Agranat. Came to South Africa 1901. Educated at the South African College School, University of Cape Town, University of Dublin. Consulting Physician, Johannesburg General Hospital. Previously was Senior Physician, Johannesburg General Hospital, and Lecturer in Clinical Medicine at Witwatersrand University. During World War II served as Lt. Col. in S.A. Medical Corps.
